Joshua Lowe Music

Post Modern American Roots

Joshua Lowe's backing band, The Juncos  are a moveable feast.  Joshua is blessed to play with some of the finest American Roots musicians on the Central Coast. Ranging from a trio to a quintet, depending on the occasion, The Juncos deliver high-energy, foot-stomping roots music embracing several American musical traditions including: country, blues, jazz, bluegrass, jug band, gospel, and folk.

The Juncos perform original music written by Joshua Lowe, traditional American roots music, as well as a wide-range of cover tunes written by such greats as Buddy Holly, The Pogues, Ernest Tubb, Louis Jordan, Les Claypool, Tom Petty, and Hank Williams.

Joshua Lowe & The Juncos have two studio albums and two live albums under their belt. The most recent, Is The Moon Shining Still? (2015) features Alex Jones, Chad Bowen, Patti Maxine, Jan Purat, and Bruce Wandmeyer.
